These terms govern your use of APKHerd (apkherd.com), operated as an independent technology publication. By accessing the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. The terms were last updated on October 17, 2026.

What APKHerd Provides

APKHerd publishes guides, comparisons, test results and troubleshooting documentation about file transfer tools, app cloners, storage management and backup software. Everything published here is educational and informational content. It is written for people managing their own devices and files, and it is provided free of charge.

Our articles are not a substitute for the documentation of the software they describe, for a manufacturer’s support process, or for professional IT assistance where data loss, security or legal exposure is involved. Where a guide conflicts with a developer’s current official documentation, the developer’s documentation wins, and we ask readers to tell us so the guide can be corrected.

No Warranty

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Software changes quickly: an app update can rename a menu, change a default or retire a feature the day after a guide is published. We work to keep guides current and date our revisions, but we do not warrant that any instruction will work on your device, your software version or your network, and following a guide is done at your own risk. Back up your data before applying storage, cleaning or cloning instructions — several of our own guides exist precisely because skipping that step ends badly.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the site or its content to infringe copyright or other intellectual property rights, including by redistributing software in ways its licence does not permit.
Attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting or its administration systems.
Scrape or republish the site’s content in bulk without written permission. Quoting a passage with attribution and a link is fine; mirroring the site is not.
Use instructions published here to access data, accounts or devices you do not own or have permission to manage — including cloned instances of other people’s accounts.
Submit false, abusive or unlawful material through the contact form or email.

Intellectual Property

The text, test data, diagrams and screenshots published on APKHerd are our intellectual property unless credited otherwise, and are protected by applicable copyright law. Software names, product names and logos mentioned on the site belong to their respective owners; mentioning them does not imply endorsement by, or affiliation with, those owners. Nothing in these terms transfers any intellectual property right to you beyond a personal, non-commercial licence to read and link to the content.

External Links

Our articles link to developers’ websites, official app store listings, open-source project pages and documentation hosted by third parties. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, and do not endorse everything they publish. A link is provided because it is the authoritative source for that software or fact, not as a guarantee of the destination.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, APKHerd and its editors are not liable for any direct, indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content, including loss of files, loss of access to accounts, device malfunction or interruption of business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Submissions and Feedback

Corrections, test results and suggestions you send us remain yours, but by sending them you grant APKHerd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, quote and adapt them in our content — for example, publishing a reader-reported error pattern in a troubleshooting guide. We will not publish your name or email address alongside a submission without your permission. Do not send us material you do not have the right to share, including other people’s private data or confidential documentation.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the publisher’s place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be read as narrowly as necessary to make it enforceable.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms; the current version is always posted on this page with its update date, and changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@apkherd.com.
